The objective of The Metal Crowd is to maintain low fees for both bands and donors. This objective is achieved with bands paying a nominal amount to create their crowdfunding campaign and a small percentage of collected funds if the campaign is successful.

Donors are not charged any fees unless they opt to pay out the revenues, in which case the initiator will be responsible for covering the transaction fees.
